Name has changed. Not sure if management changed, but the food was really wonderful and tasty. Really recommended. Waiter was good and suggested very well. My wife and me had half a portion of Bacalhau á Zé do Pipo. Excellent!! Two boys shared one portuin of Picanha,qpso very good. My oldeest boy had Salmon,very well served.

One of the best places to eat and spend time with your friends and family. They greet and treat you not like the customer but like and old friend or family member. Food is fresh and tasty, best shrimp I’ve had in a long time, creme brûlée and melon was delicious, house wine was awesome. The only word we knew in Portuguese was Obrigado and we got everything we asked for! Highly recommend this restaurant for everyone who’s looking for a great experience in Viana! Thank you Bamos o Mendes! Best of luck to you all!

Food is amazing. We loved the meat, goat, seafood, place is quiet. Only down is the waiter with an earring. A real creep, very uncomfortable comments.

We stumbled across the restaurant on a rainy night in Viana and we were so glad we did. The food was amazing, very large portions & great value for money. We were looked after by Dino who was very friendly and also speaks many different languages and felt like friends after two visits. Worth every penny place, if you don’t speak Portuguese don’t worry, they will do the best to make you satisfied and happy, also their house white wine was very good, we had shrimp and octopus and we liked it so much we came back next day and had fish which was also good. Their deserts: jello, creme brûlée and melon with some liquor inside was great. This restaurant is on quiet street, away from busy tourist traffic, I really recommend this place to anyone who like good quality food, service and price.

Great experience for vegans and omnivores! Dinner of 33 very well put together, linen napkins, drinks always coming, tasty starters & desserts and coffee within the package. I cannot stress enough the high level of hygiene and quality ingredients used. Thank you Sr Mendes and staff our Halloween dinner was the best (Sorry for the amount of noise )
